Intense Orange Muffins

Rather than using traditional chocolate chips, chop a Lindt chocolate bar into small pieces. These muffins will be a treat at your Easter Sunday brunch.

Intense Orange Muffins

Ingredients

5.25oz (150g) Lindt Excellence Intense Orange Bar, chopped
1/3 cup (80g) butter, softened
½ cup (100g) sugar
2 eggs
2 tablespoons milk
¼ teaspoon vanilla extract
1¼ cup (150g) flour
½ tablespoon baking powder
¼ teaspoon salt

Method

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Butter or line a muffin tin with paper liners.
  • Cream the butter and sugar.
  • Combine the eggs, milk and vanilla and add to the butter mixture.
  • Combine the flour, baking powder and salt and add to the butter mixture.
  • Fold in the chopped Lindt Excellence Intense Orange Bar.
  • Spoon mixture into the prepared muffin tin and bake approximately 20-25 minutes.
  • Yield: 12 muffins or 24 mini muffins
  • Prep Time: 30 minutes, 20-25 minutes baking time
