View Slideshow   <strong>Lindt unveiled a larger than life Lindt Gold Bunny statue</strong> in the courtyard of the New York Palace Hotel on April 1st. The 12 foot high statue, constructed of over 900 Lindt Gold Bunnies, will be on display in the courtyard through Easter Sunday.
More about our Heroes   <strong>Lindt honored two 'Unsung Heroes of Autism'</strong> at an event held April 1st in the beautiful courtyard of the New York Palace Hotel. At the event, Lindt recognized the two Unsung Heroes for their unwavering commitment to the autism cause. <strong>Autism Speaks' representative,</strong> Scott Leibowitz, commended the 'Unsung Heroes' for their dedicated contributions to those affected by autism... <strong>...while Thomas Linemayr, President and CEO of Lindt USA,</strong> presented Lindt's first 'Unsung Hero', Dr. Rebecca Morrison, with $5,000 toward her efforts in support of the cause. <strong>Mr. Linemayr then presented Lindt's second Unsung Hero,</strong> Mr. Charles Allen, with a check for $5,000 in support of his efforts toward the cause. <strong>Lindt's Unsung Heroes,</strong> along with Mr. Linemayr and Mr. Leibowitz, ceremoniously completed the Lindt Gold Bunny statue by placing the last Lindt Gold Bunny pieces on the structure. <strong>Everyone was 'All Ears'</strong> to show their support for Autism Speaks, to celebrate Lindt's Unsung Heroes and to kick-off Autism Awareness Month. Lindt Unsung Heroes of Autism Ceremony

Lindt and Autism Speaks celebrated their partnership and kicked off Autism Awareness month on April 1st, with an event at the New York Palace Hotel, honoring two Lindt "Unsung Heroes of Autism." Lindt, along with Cookie Magazine, recognized Dr. Rebecca Morrison and Mr. Charles Allen for their unwavering commitment to the cause and dedicated contributions to those impacted by autism. Both "Unsung Heroes" were instrumental in starting schools for children with autism spectrum disorders. The Heroes received $5,000 toward their efforts in support of the autism cause and will be featured in the June issue of Cookie Magazine. WALK NOW FOR AUTISM Tampa Saturday March 28th, 2009 View Slideshow   <strong>Around the Lindt sampling tent,</strong> participants wearing their Lindt Gold Bunny ears were eager to pose for pictures with the Lindt Gold Bunny Smart car... <strong>...and the 14 foot Lindt Gold Bunny inflatable!</strong> <strong>The Lindt sampling tent</strong> was a hit with the crowd as walk participants visited Lindt's Master Swiss Chocolatier to receive a sample of Lindt Gold Bunny and a Lindor Truffle Egg. Participants also received Lindt Gold Bunny ears, which they wore to show their support for the cause - and to show their love of Lindt chocolate! <strong>Several participants sported</strong> their Lindt Gold Bunny ears while waiting for the walk to begin... <strong>...from Bunny Princesses...</strong> <strong>...to Baby Bunnies.</strong> <strong>The team 'Journeying for Jeremiah,'</strong> was one of the 210 teams that took part in the 2009 Tampa <em>Walk Now for Autism.</em> <strong>The Riverview Elementary Team</strong> walked for the children who attend their elementary school. <strong>Throughout the walk many participants</strong> continued to display their Lindt Gold Bunny ears. Hundreds of Lindt Gold Bunny ears could be seen amongst the crowd! <strong>Throughout the day,</strong> all participants enjoyed samples of delicious Lindt Chocolate... <strong>...and proudly wore their Lindt Gold Bunny</strong> ears as they took part in the festivities at the Museum of Science and Industry in Tampa.

Walk Now for Autism Tampa

On Saturday, March 28, Lindt joined over 2800 people in the 2009 Tampa Bay Walk Now for Autism. Family and friends gathered at the Museum of Science & Industry, and together, raised over $140,000 to fund autism awareness efforts and research.

WALK NOW FOR AUTISM Palm Beach County Saturday February 21st, 2009 View Slideshow   <strong>The 2nd annual Cookie Kidsfest</strong> was held under sunny skies in the beautiful ski resort area of Beaver Creek, Colorado, in the village at Beaver Creek Resort. Lindt's giant 14 foot Lindt Gold Bunny inflatable stood high atop the Lindt 'bunny hill', providing an incredible sight for skiers and boarders as they made their way down the mountain. <strong>The Cookie Corner tent</strong>, just outside the door of the Park Hyatt Hotel and next to the skating rink, served as a hub for all Kidsfest activities. Once inside the tent, guests were treated to several family fun activities and delicious treats, including Lindt chocolate! <strong>Lindt distributed samples of Lindt Gold Bunny</strong>, milk chocolate Lindor Truffles Eggs and plush Lindt Gold Bunny ears to all guests visiting the Cookie Corner tent. <strong>Guests who tried Lindt Gold Bunny</strong>, including this little boy, enjoyed the ultimate chocolate delight from Lindt. <strong>Even those guests</strong> who were too young to enjoy the chocolate still sported Lindt Gold Bunny ears! <strong>After enjoying a sample of Lindt chocolate</strong> and receiving a set of Lindt Gold Bunny ears, Cookie Corner visitors stopped by the Clek Boost Bar to grab a cup of hot chocolate. To make each glass of hot chocolate extra special, visitors could choose from an array of toppings from scrumptious whipped cream, to marshmallows to colorful sprinkles. <strong>With his Lindt Gold Bunny ears</strong> standing tall and a large cup of hot chocolate in his tiny hands, this little boy thoroughly enjoyed all the sweet treats Kidsfest had to offer. <strong>Once <em>Cookie</em> Kidsfest</strong> visitors finished enjoying their Lindt Gold Bunny, Lindor Truffles Eggs samples and hot chocolate, they could test their skills, and get a little exercise, with the Wii Fit challenge - while wearing Lindt Gold Bunny ears of course! <strong>After enjoying all the delicious treats</strong> the Cookie Corner tent had to offer, many visitors decided to take a spin around the skating rink while proudly wearing their Lindt Gold Bunny ears. <strong>Lindt Gold Bunny samples</strong> and Lindt Gold Bunny ears were also distributed daily at the information tent. In addition to receiving a sample of delicious Lindt chocolate, event attendees could enter a raffle to win several prizes including, SIGG water bottles, a Paul Frank bicycle and, best of all, one of three Lindt Easter baskets! <strong>Everyone loved</strong> receiving a sample of delicious Lindt Gold Bunny... <strong>...and Lindt Gold Bunny ears!</strong> <strong>This little girl</strong> thought her Lindt Gold Bunny ears were the perfect addition to her outfit. <strong>Lindt's presence at <em>Cookie</em> Kidsfest</strong> wasn't limited to off-mountain activities. While on mountain, visitors to the Beaver Creek Ski Resort were treated to Lindt Gold Bunny samples distributed by one of Lindt's Master Chocolatiers. <strong>Everyone wanted to show off their Lindt Gold Bunny ears</strong> while skiing. Skiers of all different levels and backgrounds were proud to show their love of Lindt chocolate, from beginners... <strong>...to professional instructors...</strong> <strong>...to young adult snowboarders visiting Beaver Creek on spring break.</strong> <strong>Under sunny skies and with perfect ski conditions</strong>, even Lindt's Master Chocolatier decided to take a break and enjoy the slopes.

Cookie Magazine Kidsfest at Beaver Creek
March 12th - 14th, 2009

On Thursday March 12th, Lindt joined Cookie Magazine as it kicked off its 2nd annual Cookie Kidsfest celebration at Beaver Creek Resort in Colorado. The three day event was a tremendous success, as thousands enjoyed a live performance presented by Disney on Ice, an advanced screening of DreamWorks Monsters vs. Aliens, family fun on the beautiful slopes of Beaver Creek, and of course, delicious Lindt chocolate!

WALK NOW FOR AUTISM Palm Beach County Saturday February 21st, 2009 View Slideshow   <strong>Attendees entered the Meyer Amphitheater</strong> area in West Palm Beach by passing through the recognizable Autism Speaks balloon arch. In addition to serving as a point of entry to the event, the magnificent balloon arch also functioned as the starting and ending point of the walk. <strong>The Lindt booth was a popular stop</strong> for all event attendees! To further support our partnership with Autism Speaks, Lindt distributed samples of Mini Gold Bunny and Lindor Truffles milk chocolate eggs. In addition, Lindt distributed plush Gold Bunny Ears to the crowd. <strong>Lindt's Master Chocolatiers</strong> made sure everyone received a sample of premium Lindt Easter chocolate and a pair of Gold Bunny Ears! <strong>Everyone wanted to show their support</strong> for the cause by wearing their Gold Bunny Ears! This family is part of the Sandpiper Shores Walks for Autism team, one of the many teams who participated in the Palm Beach walk to raise money for autism. <strong>In addition to the many teams</strong> that wore their ears to show their support, small children... <strong>teenagers</strong>... ...<strong>and even Geoffrey,</strong> the Toys 'R' Us giraffe, wore Lindt Gold Bunny Ears to show their support! <strong>A member of the 'Stars' cheerleading squad</strong> wore her Gold Bunny Ears while entertaining onlookers with an inspiring cheer. <strong>The Lindt Gold Bunny Smart car</strong> made an appearance at the Palm Beach event, creating a fun and memorable moment for this mother and daughter pair. <strong>Supporters of all ages were excited</strong> not only about wearing their Gold Bunny Ears, but also about having their photo taken in front of Lindt's 14 foot Gold Bunny inflatable. <strong>This little boy was amazed</strong> by the larger than life Lindt Gold Bunny inflatable.

Walk Now For Autism Palm Beach County
Saturday February 21st, 2009

Lindt joined Autism Speaks in the 9th annual Palm Beach Walk Now for Autism event held under sunny skies on Saturday, February 21st. The event drew over 3,500 attendees and helped to raise awareness and funding for autism research. The crowd enjoyed live entertainment, face painting and delicious Lindt Gold Bunny chocolate samples!

WALK NOW FOR AUTISM Miami Sunday February 22nd, 2009 View Slideshow   <strong>Lindt was 'all ears' in Miami</strong> to show our support for Autism Speaks. <strong>Once again, our booth proved to be quite popular</strong> with the crowd as Lindt treated event attendees to samples of Lindt Gold Bunny and Lindor Truffles milk chocolate eggs, as well as plush Lindt Gold Bunny Ears. <strong>In addition to the walk and delicious chocolate samples</strong>, children enjoyed having their faces painted. These little girls, who were 'Walking for Kevin', had their faces painted to go along with their Gold Bunny Ears! <strong>Entertainment also included</strong> large 'bouncy' castles and blow-up slides. A few children decided to leave their Gold Bunny Ears on...even as they took the plunge down the large slide! <strong>While some children were enjoying the face</strong> painting and games, others were volunteering their time to support of the cause. Girls from the St. Agatha School generously gave their time to provide scrumptious baked goods to hungry event participants. <strong>Volunteers for Autism Speaks</strong> showed their support for the cause by donating their time and by wearing Lindt Gold Bunny Ears! <strong>Lindt's Gold Bunny Ears</strong> proved to be the hit of the event! Aunts and nieces... <strong>fathers and sons</strong>... <strong>Even Sean Hill, former professional football player</strong> for the Miami Dolphins, wore Lindt Gold Bunny Ears to show his support for the cause. <strong>This team integrated the Lindt Gold Bunny Ears into their group photo!</strong> <strong>The <em>Walk Now for Autism</em> Miami event</strong> drew people of all ages and across all backgrounds. One team had four generations of family members walking to support the cause. This couple was 'walking' to support two of their great-grandchildren, both of whom suffer from autism. <strong>As event participants, 12,000 strong</strong>, passed under the Autism Speaks balloon arch at the start of the walk, Lindt Gold Bunny Ears could be seen in the crowd, and at times above the crowd.

On Sunday, February 22nd, Lindt joined Autism Speaks and over 12,000 event attendees at Crandon Park Key Biscayne in a Walk Now for Autism event that raised over $400,000 to support autism research, awareness, advocacy and family services.
